HSC and Equivalent Exam Results to be Published on October 15

The results of this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations will be published on October 15 (Tuesday). Tapan Kumar Sarkar, Chairman of the Dhaka Education Board and President of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, confirmed this information today (Monday). He stated that the results will be published at 11:00 AM on that day.

Due to the cancellation of several exams amid the quota reform movement, the evaluation will follow the subject mapping method. In this process, 25% of the marks from the Junior School Certificate (JSC) and 75% from the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) will be combined to generate the final HSC scores.

This year's HSC exams began on June 30. While the exams proceeded smoothly until July 16, exams scheduled for July 18, 21, 23, and 25 were postponed due to the protests. The exam dates were rescheduled several times before the exams were eventually canceled.

A total of 1,450,790 students participated in this year's HSC and equivalent exams under nine general education boards, the technical board, and the madrasa board.

এইচএসসি ও সমমান পরীক্ষার ফল প্রকাশ হবে ১৫ অক্টোবর

চলতি বছরের উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক সার্টিফিকেট (এইচএসসি) ও সমমান পরীক্ষার ফল আগামী ১৫ অক্টোবর (মঙ্গলবার) প্রকাশিত হবে। ঢাকা শিক্ষা বোর্ডের চেয়ারম্যান ও আন্তঃশিক্ষা বোর্ড সমন্বয় কমিটির সভাপতি তপন কুমার সরকার আজ (সোমবার) এ তথ্য নিশ্চিত করেছেন। তিনি জানান, ওইদিন বেলা ১১টায় পরীক্ষার ফল প্রকাশ করা হবে।

এই বছর অনুষ্ঠিত কিছু পরীক্ষা কোটা সংস্কার আন্দোলনের কারণে স্থগিত হওয়ায়, শিক্ষার্থীদের মূল্যায়নে সাবজেক্ট ম্যাপিং পদ্ধতি প্রয়োগ করা হবে। এই পদ্ধতিতে জেএসসিতে প্রাপ্ত নম্বরের ২৫ শতাংশ এবং এসএসসিতে প্রাপ্ত নম্বরের ৭৫ শতাংশ যোগ করে এইচএসসি পরীক্ষার ফলাফল তৈরি করা হবে।

চলতি বছরের এইচএসসি পরীক্ষা শুরু হয় ৩০ জুন। ১৬ জুলাই পর্যন্ত পরীক্ষা ঠিকমতো হলেও, আন্দোলনের কারণে ১৮, ২১, ২৩ ও ২৫ জুলাইয়ের পরীক্ষা স্থগিত করা হয়। পরবর্তীতে পরীক্ষাগুলোর তারিখ একাধিকবার পরিবর্তন করা হয় এবং অবশেষে এসব পরীক্ষা বাতিল করা হয়।

এইচএসসি ও সমমানের পরীক্ষায় এবার মোট ১৪ লাখ ৫০ হাজার ৭৯০ জন পরীক্ষার্থী অংশগ্রহণ করেছিল।
